Storyboard : Invincible technique!

I decided to give it a different style this time around, something more comical, literally. With a distinct style to emphasize that this is a more to animation (cell shaded) because of an influence from Hideki Kamiya.

Okay, here's the brief.

Character:

Aprentice Chin
-A very determine young man that is learning the arts of swords from Sifoo. Single minded and overly focus at times. Eager to become a great.

Sifoo
-old master who owns a kung fu dojo, fully bearded and white haired. Very calm and patient, what you would normally see out of a legendary master that believe in the way of self enlightment that sort.

Setting:
In the era of old china, eras of the dynasty. Its a mid day story and the season is spring, so the mood and colors are quite natural (almost pastel maybe?) Very pleasing yet exciting colors.

Story:

Its a somewhat comic story, just for laughs, something silly you might say. So its like this,

1- 1st scene in outside the "invincible" dojo. of course, i realize i wrote it wrong in a hurry, its suppose to be "天下无敌" not ”天下无乱“ silly me *laughs*

2- Apprentice Chin is practicing his swordsmanship under the supervision of Sifoo

3- His determine side shows, he readies for a difficult technique, very challenging. (Sifoo thinks he's not ready yet)

4- His opponent, spinning training dummies! Can he take them all out?

5- He attempts! (ignoring Sifoo's opinion) HUUUU---YAHHHHHH!!!! *SWIshhHHHH!*

6- *BRRRRRAAAMMM* After the smoke settles, you can see the destruction. SUCCESS!

7- Then he gets a tap at the back, he turns thinking Sifoo must be impressed!

8- GAAAHH!!!! He's got Sifoo's beard!!!! Oh Boy... he is in big trouble now!

So the camera angle is still under consideration, its changable depending. I allow you some space of flexibility, and still 2 more frames can be added if you think you need to show extra shots.

Here's some references to start you off:

If you need more, look it up. Its perfectly okay with me if you want to change a few things here and there, but what i'm looking for is the style. (of course, story has to stay too!)

Here is what i meant, Something that has a lil sumi-e style, and a bit of tradition japanese style (eg: Hokusai). Very light colors and lesser tones, character design is up to you too. Something from Hideki Kamiya:

A more or less this style, of course when i mention style, i don't mean exactly like this, but something that gives out this feeling. I leave it up to your drawing style and design, but the feel should be close to this kind. (of course, i'm still open to changes , if you can do better in another way then by all means ^^) Remember, colors are light and fresh! Its Spring!

Have fun and have a good challenge! =)
